About
I’m Ryan Nguyen, an engineering leader based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. My career has taken me through software engineering, consulting, enterprise transformation, and platform leadership. I enjoy working on complex problems where technology, organizations, and people all need to come together.
What I do
I currently lead Developer Experience for the Axon Platform, with responsibility for internal developer platforms and cloud infrastructure. My team builds golden paths and delivery capabilities that help engineers ship software more safely and efficiently.
Founder of PassViec.com
Alongside my work at Axon, I founded PassViec.com. It tracks active roles at selected tech employers, publishes guides to what each company looks for, and connects candidates with hiring managers and senior engineers for 1:1 interview preparation. The product grew from my experience as a hiring manager since 2017, reviewing CVs, interviewing engineers, and helping people prepare for career moves.
Background
Before Axon, I was Engineering Director at Techcombank, leading engineering in the South across CRM, martech, lending, and fraud and risk. Earlier, I worked as a technology consultant at McKinsey & Company on banking and healthcare transformations across Southeast Asia and the United States.
My earlier roles included engineering leadership at NAB and NashTech, after starting my career as a mobile-game engineer at Gameloft.
